Hallowe’en…

At the Vintage Life Mill we need little encouragement to play dress up, so today was no exception. Food, music, costumes, photos and (a lack of) lighting… A shy and retiring bunch we are not.

We have a zombie, a Hulk, an invisible man, a cheeky devil, a coven of Witches and er, an escaped 19th century deranged ghost convict. We are now all on a total sugar high thanks to some suitably ghoulish treats provided by our Editor Rachel!

Pumpkin Marshmellows

Pumpkin Marshmellows - Yummy! Someone take them away from me...

This picture is the end of my desk… talk about putting temptation in my way! You probably can’t see, but the spiderweb cupcakes were made by Steph!

Office Treats

Shot of the end of my desk!

Have you marked the day in any way? Tell me!

  1. Love the pix!

Saturday night, I made spiked rum cider and hosted a pumpkin carving party. We listened to 40s jazz and sipped absinthe.

Last night husband and I went to see Tim Burton’s exhibit at LACMA in Los Angeles. Not vintage (unless you count his early work), but appropriately spooky!

  2. We had to come check out this post after that tempting pic you posted on Facebook! Can’t decide if we’re more intrigues by those delicious looking candy apples or by “escaped 19th century deranged ghost convict.”
