One of the key fashion trends that will be sticking around for sometime is the ‘Granny Chic’. Now, this is a fashion trend that us vintage lovers can really rock well and it’s fun. So, what is this trend all about?

It’s the clashing of prints and colours, textures and lots of accessories, such as gloves, handbags, pearls, your Gran’s heels or loafers and the granny favourite – brooches – are a huge must. The ultimate accessory has to be fashion glasses, such as the nerd style or faithful cat-eye glasses.

Hats play a huge part in this look and I do love a good vintage hat, don’t you? You can also go all out and wrap a pretty silk scarf around your head, which helps to add a touch of unexpected pattern or colour to your outfit.

Don’t be scared of busy prints and embrace them instead, with dresses or mid-length skirts and blouses. It’s about fun and mixing up the decades so you look like someone who has just stepped off Gucci’s catwalk.

For this vintage Vogue feature we mixed up 1960s and 1970s for these fun looks.
